Sonder Neutral Bay — Men's Barber on the Lower North Shore
Our Story
Sonder's move onto the lower North Shore, opened in 2023. The site is narrow but it came with a back room, which turned out to be perfect for running the academy and a lot of the training out of. It's on the main road in Neutral Bay right by the bus stop, the same line that runs past Dee Why and Mona Vale, so there are now three shops strung along it between the lower North Shore and the Beaches. Out front it's a full Sonder shop, same as anywhere.
Parking
There's two hours free parking out the back of the shop on Grosvenor Lane. From there, walk through the lane next to Chaos Cafe to reach the front of the shop.
Public Transport
On Military Road in Neutral Bay, right by the bus stop on the same route that runs through Dee Why and Mona Vale, so it's an easy trip from across the lower North Shore.
Services
Every haircut at Sonder starts with a proper consultation. We take the time to understand what you're after before anyone picks up the clippers, because that's where a good cut is won or lost. From there it's whatever suits you, a skin fade, a classic cut, a scissor cut or a buzz, plus full beard work from a quick tidy-up to a proper shape and fade.
First time in? Every service has a New Client option with extra time so we can get to know your hair properly.
