Sonder Chatswood — Men's Barber on the North Shore
Our Story
The first Sonder shop off the Northern Beaches and the move onto the North Shore, opened in 2022. Chatswood is a busier, faster part of Sydney and a bigger step than anything Sonder had done before, both in cost and in the kind of build the centre expected. It's also about as easy to get to as a barbershop can be, tucked right inside the Metro station, so plenty of people across the North Shore get a cut on their way in or out of the city without going out of their way at all.
Parking
Park in the Westfield car park off Archer Street for three hours free. There's also some ticketed street parking nearby, and a flat rate of $18 is available off Archer Street.
Public Transport
The shop is tucked right inside Chatswood Metro station on Victoria Avenue. Step off the train and you're basically at the chair, with the whole North Shore line on your doorstep.
Services
Every haircut at Sonder starts with a proper consultation. We take the time to understand what you're after before anyone picks up the clippers, because that's where a good cut is won or lost. From there it's whatever suits you, a skin fade, a classic cut, a scissor cut or a buzz, plus full beard work from a quick tidy-up to a proper shape and fade.
